What’s great about your major?

Aerospace engineering is great because you’re not only designing something that is structurally sound, but also something that flies.

Why was the KU School of Engineering the right choice for you?

The KU School of Engineering was the right choice for me because of everything it has to offer. There are so many opportunities here, from professional organizations and design teams, students thrive. The professors and people who work in the Dean’s Office want to help students succeed, so they help them in any way they can.

What do you want to do after graduation?

After graduation I want to work for a few years in industry as an engineering for a space company. Then I want to go back to school part time, get my MBA and go into the business side of things.

What do you like most about KU?

What I like most about KU is the campus. It’s beautiful every season of the year and when is snows the hills by the campanile are some of the best places to sled. It also helps that some of the best places to study are by the scenic areas of campus.

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

Take an HSES 108 class once. They’re one credit hour sports classes that have different topics such as taekwondo, yoga and volleyball so they’re great stress relievers.
