About 1 hour ago the file server experienced an issue related to its storage subsystem which caused the drives hosted on it to be termporarily offline. We were able to restore service within a few minutes but the lingering effects can still be felt. If you were logged in to SOECS computers prior to 10:00a and are experiencing strange behaviour, please log off and then log back on.
