Fall Recognition Ceremony Set for Saturday, Dec. 12

The Engineering Recognition Ceremony for fall 2015 graduates of the University of Kansas School of Engineering will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Crafton-Preyer Theatre in Murphy Hall. Graduates, their friends and family, as well as School of Engineering faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Students who have applied to graduate should have RSVP’ed to attend the ceremony. They may do so online. Instructions about arrival time, regalia, etc. are emailed to the student. Murphy Hall does not open until 8 a.m. Arriving before 8 a.m. will not improve seating options.

A reception for all fall graduates, their guests and faculty and staff will take place in the McClendon Atrium of LEEP2 immediately after the ceremony.

Free parking is available in all surface lots near the venue. Parking in the Allen Fieldhouse Garage will require payment upon departure. Review the KU parking map to identify all the options. Individuals with mobility concerns may be dropped off and picked up in the traffic pullout in front of Murphy Hall. Please contact the Dean’s Office, 785-864-3881, with information about individuals with other disabilities that may require accommodation.
