Get Connected with the School

The KU School of Engineering launched several initiatives to help alumni and students stay connected.

KU Current is a new Web-based email newsletter for alumni of the school. The newsletter provides updates on the latest KU Engineering successes and achievements, links to events, departments and more. Alumni who didn’t receive a copy of the first issue of KU Current in October, should know it’s not too late to sign up. Simply visit KU Alumni Association.

The KU Alumni Association maintains all email addresses, however alumni need not be formal members of the Alumni Association to have their email address registered to receive KU Current.

If Facebook is your poison, the KU School of Engineering is there for you, too. The social networking site offers ways for you to connect with current students, prospective students and alumni and even faculty and staff in the School of Engineering. Plus find out about the latest events and activities at the school. To become a friend, go directly to the KU School of Engineering group page.

Get your video fix for all things KU Engineering at YouTube. Go to online to the Jayhawk Engineering Channel. to watch videos of the 2008 High School Design Competition, advice from graduating seniors, the Jay Cam view behind the wheel of the Jayhawk Motorsports car and more. Check back often because more KU Engineering video is on the way.

The KU School of Engineering also supports a group page on LinkedIn. Originally begun by an electrical engineering alumnus, the school will now support the LinkedIn group page with news of activities, services and events of interest to alumni and students nearing graduation.

Check us out and keep in touch.
