Graduating KU Seniors Must 'Apply for Graduation' by March 1

You’ve put in the years of study, but there’s still one more important step to take before you walk down the Hill this spring.  Thursday, March 1, is the deadline for undergraduates to “apply for graduation.”

This is the formal process that tells the university you expect to finish your degree requirements in the current semester. It begins the process where university staff members verify a student meets the requirements to receive a degree from the University of Kansas. And -- as one of your last responsibilities as a KU student -- it's required.

Students should log into the Enroll & Pay section of the KU website and complete this application in order to have a grad check performed on their record. Students who have already applied should check their academic notices in the Kyou portal to review their status.
