What’s great about your major?

You get the best of both sides of Architecture and Engineering. It gives you the chance to use your design and creative mind along with your math skills to create something new and exciting.

Why was the KU School of Engineering the right choice for you?

The KU School of Engineering offered me the community I was looking for. The college-town feel and friendly Engineering community allowed me the chance to branch out and learn more about myself.

What do you want to do after graduation?

After graduation I want to go to graduate school in order to get my masters in Engineering. After that I would like to eventually own my own engineering firm and conduct work within struggling communities.

What do you like most about KU?

I like that KU is in a college town and that are many opportunities to get involved with in the school and community.

What advice do you have for incoming freshmen?

I would tell freshman to try new things. Do a sport you’ve never done before or join a school organization to see what’s out there.
