Incoming Freshmen Invited to Ice Cream Socials

Freshmen entering the University of Kansas School of Engineering in fall 2007 are invited to take part in ice cream socials during the summer.

The events take place in conjunction with New Student Orientation sessions. Incoming engineering and computer science students will be able to meet KU faculty, staff and students and have any questions answered in a relaxed and informal setting the evening of day 1 of their orientation session. Family members of students also are invited to dine on ice cream and meet their new Jayhawk family.

The events begin at 7:30 p.m. in the School of Engineering Courtyard between Eaton, Learned and Spahr Halls.
