Dinner at the Society of Women Engineers Evening with Industry Registration is under way for the annual SWE Evening with Industry on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Students who take part in the Society of Women Engineers’ Evening with Industry have additional access to the people who do the hiring. The evening includes time to mingle and a formal dinner and begins at 6 p.m., in the Kansas Union Ballroom. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Cost to attend is $5 for SWE members and $12 for all other School of Engineering students.

All engineering and computer science students—especially female students—at all academic levels are strongly encouraged to attend this exclusive event. Seating is limited. Dress is business attire and suits are strongly recommended.

Event organizers strive to connect students with employers representing the student's career interests. In addition, all employers who take part in the event receive a CD with resumes of all students in attendance. In order to have a resume on this CD it must be submitted by 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8 -- no exceptions.
