Start Down the Path to a Dream Career

Monday, August 29, 2011

A chance to network with employers, hone interview skills and start down the path to a dream career awaits students at the 2011 Fall Engineering and Computer Science Career Fair.  Nearly 100 employers are registered to attend the career fair, set for noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, on the fifth floor of the Kansas Union.  2011 Career Fair

The career fair is open to all KU students, but employers will primarily focus on making connections with students in engineering and the hard sciences.

Students should dress professionally and arrive with several copies of their resume to share with prospective employers.  Students are also advised to review the list of employers scheduled to attend and learn something about those of interest prior to arriving.

The School of Engineering Career Center is offering a series of workshops and seminars in advance of the career fair to help students prepare.  For more information about these opportunities or the ones listed below, please contact staff in the Engineering Career Center, 1001 Eaton, ecc@ku.edu , 785-864-3891, www.ecc.ku.edu
