School Kicks Off Freshman Orientation with Ice Cream Socials

Ice Cream Socials for the incoming class of freshman is a long-standing School of Engineering tradition during New Student Orientation
The KU School of Engineering will welcome students in the class of 2014 and their families with a series of ice cream socials held on the first evening of freshman New Student Orientations.

The socials will be from 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on:

Thursday, June 10

Thursday, June 24 

Monday, July 12, and 

Monday, July 19 

in the Engineering Courtyard between Eaton and Learned halls.

The socials will feature build-your-own sundaes and super-delicious root beer floats. School of Engineering administration, faculty, staff and students also will be on hand to answer questions about enrollment and life as a student in the School of Engineering.

Engineering student organizations will also be present to introduce students to some of the wonderful projects, opportunities and clubs they can be part of.

No reservation is necessary.
