Series to Explore Researcher Issues Through Collaboration

Researchers have an opportunity to learn more about the research process and share experiences at the Third Thursday Research Collaboration.

Faculty and graduate students are invited to attend a three-part collaborative series of meetings on research that begins Thursday, Sept. 18.

Topics of the Third Thursday Research Collaborations series, in order of discussion, are

“Funding your Research,” “Protecting your Research,” and “Marketing your Research.”

The purpose of these meetings, which are collaborative in nature, is to encourage informal discussion on broad topics of interest to researchers. All collaborations will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., on the third Thursday of the month through the fall semester in the Dean’s Conference Room, 1 Eaton Hall. Cookies and beverages will be provided.

Facilitators at the first session will be Victor Frost, Dan F. Servey distinguished professor of electrical engineering and computer science, and Glen Marotz, associate dean for Research and Graduate Programs.
