The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) leads the School’s academic affairs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, consistent with KU’s place among the nation’s most prestigious universities in the American Association of Universities (AAU). The ADAA is the primary representative of the School on all academic affairs and is responsible for academic and administrative leadership of the School of Engineering’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The ADAA plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining the academic excellence of the School through leadership, oversight, planning, development, evaluation and coordination of all aspects of academic programs. The ADAA strengthens KU’s position as a world-class leader in engineering education by providing resources to enhance undergraduate and graduate education and by developing strategies to support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, progression and graduation.
