Honors Program

Engineering students with strong academic records may apply to join the University of Kansas Honors Program. This program offers academically motivated students a supportive environment including small more interactive honors classes and tutorials in many areas of study. More information is available at http://www.honors.ku.edu. Honors classes require special permission, which can be obtained from an honors advisor.

The departments of Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Engineering Physics Program have departmental honors programs. These programs allow students the opportunity to take honors courses and/or complete a research project. Students have to maintain a certain grade point average to be part of these programs.
