The Big Five - 8:00am - 12:00pm
What do engineers do? It depends on what kind of engineering you choose! Explore Aerospace, Chemical and Petroleum, Civil and Architectural, Electrical and Computer Science, and Mechanical engineering in this week long camp. Engage in problem solving activities related to each of these five engineering disciplines, and tour University of Kansas School of Engineering lab and research facilities where real engineering research happens!

She’s an Engineer - 8:00am - 12:00pm
Improving people’s lives! Making the world a better, cleaner, safer place! Engineers solve problems at large and small businesses, do research at universities and start-ups, and make a difference through non-profit organizations or influencing government policy (engineergirl.org, 2018). Come learn about the variety of ways engineers can shape the future!  From problem solving activities related to the different engineering disciplines to tours of the KU Engineering facilities, explore how engineering could be part of the challenge of your lifetime.

May the Force Be With You (physics camp) - 12:30pm - 4:30pm
What did the Nuclear Physicist have for lunch? Fission Chips. Come radiate your enthusiasm when we put the heat on, sound off about magnetism, and light up investigations about atoms.  You will be forced to play with electricity and magnetism, and all sorts of matter.  Join in some serious and some silly investigations in physics, and learn about how physics is everywhere in everything we do.
