EECS to Hold Career Discovery Sessions


The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science will hold two information sessions for new students in the department as well as undecided engineering students or those contemplating a change in major.

Sessions will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, and Wednesday, Aug. 30, in the Spahr Engineering Classroom, 2 Eaton Hall.

Session 1 on Aug. 23 will focus on life as an EECS student and will provide tips on how to succeed from current students and faculty. Session 2 on Aug. 30 will look at life as an EECS graduate. The focus will be on career options and will feature a technology overview and an alumni panel.

Attendees will be able to sign up for a tour of Garmin Ltd. or Cerner Corporation. Refreshments will be served following each session.
