ECC Spring Employer Event Sign Up

If you or a representative from your organization would like to participate in one of the events listed below, please complete the webform at the bottom of the page.

Daily Monday, January 30 through Friday, February 3, times will vary

  • Mock Interviews – 45-minute appointments pre-scheduled to fit your availability
  • Resume Reviews – 30-minute appointments pre-scheduled to fit your availability
  • Space is limited to 4 employer representatives per day of the week; First-come, First-served

Tuesday, January 31

  • 11:30-1:00 Lunch-and-Learn, “Making the Most of Networking”; Max 3 employer representatives; Lunch will be provided by the ECC
  • 6:00-8:00 PM Freshmen Engineering Student Council Spring Career Fair Prep Night; Max 2 employers
  • 5:00-6:30 PM Edwards Campus, Spring Career Crunch: Industry Leaders prepare engineering students studying at the Edwards campus in Overland Park for Career Fair success. (Targeting undergrads in IT and our management graduate-level degree seekers)

Wednesday, February 1

  • 11:30-1:00 Lunch-and-Learn, “Recent Grad Panel: The Transition from the University of Kansas to the University of Life”; Max of 4 panelists, must be a KU engineering graduate between 2012-2016; Lunch will be provided by the ECC

Thursday, February 2

  • 11:30-1:00 Lunch-and-Learn, “From Juggling Simultaneous Interviews and Offers to Understanding the Details of an Employment Offer”; Max of 3 employer representatives; Lunch will be provided by the ECC

Other Relevant Details

  • Time commitment would include a full or partial day’s time 
  • You would have the opportunity to mentor and network with engineering students in preparation for the spring career fair
  • ECC will provide parking vouchers for all events and a meal when the time commitment spans the lunch hour
  • While we do our best to assure an appropriate and applicable audience for the presenters, these activities are designed to benefit all students in the SoE regardless of their chosen major
