Expo is a Go

Engineering Expo, the annual KU School of Engineering open house, will take place as planned on Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23.

No change in the schedule due to weather is anticipated. K-12 students who are unable to attend Expo activities due to school cancellations, are encouraged to attend Saturday Expo activities with their families.

Expo begins with the keynote address by KU alumnus and EPA researcher Daniel Vallero at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Lied Center. At 10:30 a.m. exhibits and hands-on displays open at Learned and Eaton halls. Displays stay open until 3 p.m.

Activities resume from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Additional School of Engineering activities on Friday and Saturday also are expected to proceed as planned.

• SELF Fellowship Interviews

will take place on Friday. High school seniors invited to take part should plan on attending. If weather conditions prevent safe travel, invitees should call the School of Engineering, 785-864-3881,
