Finis Easter was honored for his innovation in electronic circuit design reviews for RCA. He developed electronic circuitry for the TALOS Shipboard anti-aircraft missile launching and guidance system, and he designed the first two custom integrated circuits for RCS's Van Nuys plant. He also designed and developed RCA's first all solid-state production power supply. In addition, he developed the video circuitry for RCA's first digital weather radar.
