Fund-Raiser to Benefit Engineers w/o Borders

Lawrence Applebee’s are hosting a fund-raising event for the KU Chapter of Engineers Without Borders all day on Friday, Dec. 7, Stop Day.

People interested in participating should first visit the KU Engineers Without Borders Website at


and download and print a copy of the Dining to Donate flier. Participants should present the flier to their server at either Lawrence Applebee’s location on Dec. 7. Fifteen percent of each diner’s bill will be donated to the KU Chapter of Engineers Without Borders.

EWB-KU also will hold a raffle for gift certificates for all Dining to Donate patrons who submit a copy of their receipt. Receipts can be scanned and emailed to


or delivered to 2150 Learned Hall. The receipts must include name and contact information and be date Dec. 7. Receipts are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec.13. Winners will be announced Friday, Dec. 14.
