School of Engineering New Graduate Student Orientation

Our New Graduate Student Orientation for the Spring 2017 semester will be split into two parts: one online session and one in-person session. The online orientation can be found under Blackboard, entitled "Engineering Graduate Orientation," once it is made available. The in-person orientation will be held on Wednesday, January 11th. Students should check out the New Graduate Student Orientation page for more information and to RSVP. All students except for engineering management and part-time students in civil, environmental, and architectural engineering should register to attend the School of Engineering orientation.

Please contact the Coordinator Graduate Recruitment and Outreach if you have any questions.

International Students

International students should see International Student Services (ISS) to register for an orientation devoted to international students. The ISS Website also lists important pre-arrival information for international students.

All international students are also required to take the Applied English Center (AEC) proficiency test upon their arrival.

New Graduate Teaching Assistants

All new GTA's are required to attend the New GTA Conference. Failure to attend the conference may result in termination of your GTA contract.
