What is the cost to attend?

The event is free. The only costs would be incidental to the competition and visit to the University.

Can a student compete in more than one of the competitions?

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, teams of students are limited to competing in only one event during the competition.

How many students can be on a team?

For the 2018 competitions, teams can have up to four students. 

Can my school field more than one team for a single event?

Absolutely! As long as individual students are only competing on one team and that team is only competing in one event, you are welcome to field as many teams as you'd like.

My school doesn't have an engineering program. Are we still eligible to compete?

Absolutely. Teams are encouraged to compete to the best of their ability and go as far in each competition as possible. 

Do students build their devices before the competition or on the day of? 

See the rules of that specific event.

When will the competition conclude?

The competition is usually scheduled to conclude by 2:30pm. Event schedules are posted closer to the competition day.

Will lunch be provided?

A pizza lunch is usually provided for competitors and teacher/sponsors. Other guests and parents will need to make their own arrangements.

What are the details of the scholarships?

The scholarship awards will go to event winners but the amounts given to each winner will be decided later. All participants are eligible to earn scholarships.
