Engineering Industry Partners Program

Industry Partners support our edcuational and research mission and receive enhanced recognition among KU students.

As an Engineering Industry Partner, your company is empowered to impact KU engineering programs, foster an innovative culture and develop the engineering talent that fits your company’s needs. With support from its Industry Partners, KU can produce an increased number of highly skilled engineering and computing graduates who help meet the growing needs of business and industry. The Engineering Industry Partners Program offers a variety of incentives designed to increase your company’s visibility on campus and in the School of Engineering

Tier 1 ($5,000 to $9,999)

  • Ability to direct membership gift to specific KU Engineering funding opportunities best aligned with company goals
  • Customized company engagement strategy prepared by our Engineering Career Center staff and Development team
  • Poster/electronic screen displays identifying all industry partners in student services areas
  • Company name/logo/description on School of Engineering website and selected student materials (planners, T-shirts, etc.)
  • Industry partners listing in Kansas Engineer alumni and student magazine
  • Access to career services online searchable resume system
  • Industry partner & faculty leaders reception around engineering & computing career fairs

Tier 2 ($10,000 to $24,999)

  • Company Day at the KU School of Engineering

Tier 3 ($25,000 to $99,999)

  • Invitations to and opportunity to sponsor special KU School of Engineering events
  • List of Dean’s Honor Roll students

Tier 4 ($100,000 to $249,999)

  • Company Meet & Greet with major-specific student population (dependent on student availability)
  • Company banner hung in area of high student traffic
  • School of Engineering lecture opportunities

Tier 5 ($250,000 and up)

  • Opportunity to run company video/promo (1-2 minutes maximum) on video boards throughout the engineering complex
  • Article in Kansas Engineer alumni and student magazine highlighting KU engineering alumni within the company and the company’s connection to the KU School of Engineering

Deans Circle

Unrestricted gifts of $5,000 or more will put your company in the Deans Circle. Membership in the Deans Circle  will give you an opportunity for a special meeting with Dean Michael Branicky to learn about major initiatives in the KU School of Engineering and identify ways your company can have an even greater impact.
