MASTER MINDS: Use your brain to make really cool stuff and a better world

The KU School of Engineering and Burns & McDonnell are showing high school students and transfer students how they can make a big difference.

Whether their passion is creating the newest and coolest things or simply making a

positive impact on the world, high school students will learn that engineering and computing is a great career choice.

This free event for high school students and prospective transfer students in the Kansas City Metro and Northeast Kansas will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Burns & McDonnell’s World Headquarters, 9400 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Mo., 64114.

Space is limited and participants should RSVP before Nov. 11.

The program will include presentations from KU Engineering students, faculty and alumni. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about life as an engineer and what the KU School of Engineering has to offer students.
