Prospective Students Invited to Open House on Sept. 28

Open House

Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

High school students and their guests are invited to attend the KU School of Engineering Open House from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, Eaton Hall, 1520 W. 15 th St.

Engineering Open House is a great time to see the exciting things happening at the KU School of Engineering and learn why KU is a great choice for your degree.  During the Engineering Open House students can sit down for a variety of special interest topics, visit information tables or even take a tour of KU’s state-of-the-art facilities.  Register now for this free event.

We’ll offer a variety of interest sessions, including:

  •  Admissions/Financial Aid,
  •  Honors Program,
  •  Research,
  •  Self Engineering Leadership Fellows (SELF) Program,
  •  All School of Engineering academic majors,
  •  More.

 

There also will be several information and organization tables*, including:

  •  Jayhawk Motorsports,
  •  Residential Life/Student Housing,
  •  Career Services/Engineering Career Center,
  •  Study Abroad,
  •  First-Year Experience,
  •  Diversity and Women’s Programs,
  •  More.

The event has an open format that lets students visit booths or take part in sessions of interest to them. There’s no obligation to stay for the duration. 

So we can ensure we are prepared for all guests, please register for Engineering Open House by Sept. 20.  Free parking is available in Lots 33, 54, 72 near the Engineering Complex.
