Attendees of this lecture will learn The 2-Hour Job Search process for prioritizing, contacting, & attracting target employers to maximize post-campus job search efficiency & effectiveness. The content will be especially helpful for students seeking opportunities outside or our geographic area and/or with companies not represented on campus.
KU School of Engineering and the Engineering Career Center are gathering data on student internships and extracurricular experiences to complete annual reports and gain a comprehensive understanding of the successes or our students. These successes can help other students realize opportunities and attract prospective students to become Jayhawks.
Sophomore through Graduate Students majoring in Petroleum Engineering - submit your resume & brief information to be included in a packet of resumes that will be distributed to alumni, corporations, and organizations.
Step 1 - Submit initial resume by Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 for review by the Engineering Career Center.
Step 2 - Career Center staff review & provide suggestions if needed during last week of Sept. (Students may also set up an appointment to discuss resume in person - call 785-864-3891 & mention petroleum engineering resume packet).
Step 3 - Submit final resume by October 1 for inclusion in resume packets to employers & alumni.
