Graduate Scholarly Presentation Travel Award
Eligibility
- Applications for travel funding must be submitted before travel dates.
- Retroactive Travel Funding Exception: Students may still apply for funding for eligible travel completed on or after July 15, 2022, to October 31, 2022.
- Applications for travel after October 31, 2022, must be submitted before travel dates.
- Students must be enrolled at least half-time at the time of application.
- Funding application below is for School of Engineering graduate students at the Lawrence or Edwards campus.
- Travel must be to conferences/professional meetings at which student is presenting their research or creative works, or professional development/conference/workshop/opportunity that the student demonstrates is related to their field of study or research project.
Application
- Applicants must provide proof of acceptance and a one-page abstract of the research being presented or provide justification as related to field of study or research project, if not presenting, as an attachment.
- Applications are awarded on a first-come/first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
- Applicants may receive up to $500 once (1) per fiscal year.
Awarding
- Applications are no longer being accepted for the 22-23 academic year as funds have been exhausted.
- The Graduate Scholarly Presentation Travel Award follows the university’s travel policies and procedures.
