Incoming and current students are eligible for various Impact and Belonging scholarships. Please read below to learn more.

The KU School of Engineering awards scholarships to entering freshman and continuing undergraduate students. Students are STRONGLY encouraged to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) each year by December 1st to ensure that they are considered for all scholarship aid for which they are eligible.

Incoming first-year students

The KUEST Scholarship is a one-year scholarship for incoming first-year Engineering students who complete either the KUEST ONE or KUEST Bridge programs.
The SELF Fellowship is a four-year co-curricular program for engineering students who want to build leadership, business, and entrepreneurial skills. There is significant scholarship component.

Current students

Undergraduate students may apply for additional need- and merit-based scholarships from January-March every year. There are other scholarships available to Engineering students, including hardship relief funds. Students are also encouraged to visit the University of Kansas Scholarship Opportunities Portal to view these additional scholarship opportunities.
