Biography —
Emma Du is a junior studying Computer Science with a minor in Business. She has gained experience through internships with HydroTekFarm as a Software Development Intern, and most recently with Netsmart as a Technical Analyst Intern. She has also participated in undergraduate research for T-Mobile at KU Center for Design Research, where she developed and designed innovative AI-driven learning and learning/communication tools for healthcare system research post-pandemic. Most recently, Emma has been involved with undergraduate research focusing in AI for Alzheimer's Research and early detection under Dr. Agah. Emma is Class of 2027 Cohort Lead for the Self Engineering Leadership Fellows (SELF) Program and a part of the KU Honors Program. Within the School of Engineering, she is the Vice President of Women in Computing (WiC), President of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (Computer Science Honors Society), and the Director of Communication and Social for the KU Blockchain Institute. Emma is an active member of the KU Community, participating in intramural soccer and volleyball, and a part of the KU Symphony Orchestra.
