Biography

Evanna Dominic is a junior studying Chemical Engineering with a Biomedical concentration. She has interned at Heartland Coca-Cola and has studied abroad in Slovenia. As a SELF Fellow and active participant in Zeta Theta Tau, Evanna is passionate about engineering leadership and invites prospective students to ask her about her internship and involvement at KU.

What internships or professional experiences have you had so far?

In the Summer, I interned with Heartland Coca-Cola. I worked as a mechanical and chemical engineering intern where I worked in the plant to understand more about the mechanics that go into designing the plant along with the production of Coca-Cola.

Are you involved in undergraduate research?

Yes, I am working under Dr. Mark Shiflett with research focusing on extractive distillation. The graduate student in charge of this project is Julia Espinoza.
