Biography —
Nyam is a proud Jayhawk who has been a member of GEA since 2022, when he started his Master's degree in Computer Science at KU. He is now pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, with a research focus on AI alignment and safety. As GEA's Treasurer, Nyam is dedicated to directing GEA funds toward initiatives that encourage and support graduate student involvement across the KU School of Engineering. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending his free time playing outdoor games.
