Thomas B. Robinson

Retired Managing Partner of Black & Veatch

Tom Robinson was honored for serving the engineering profession with distinction and excellence. He was managing partner of Black & Veatch and chairman of the board of Black & Veatch International. He served in the U.S. Army Civil Engineering Corps during World War II. He was first the chairman of the KU School of Engineering Advisory Board, as well as president of the American Consulting Engineers Council and he was elected to the National Academy of Engineering.
