Allison Bruner

As a Transportation Engineer with TREKK Design Group, Allison designs interstate highway, roadway and pedestrian improvement projects across Missouri and Kansas. She also recently served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Kansas’ School of Engineering, teaching a graduate-level Highway Safety course.

Allison graduated from the University of Kansas with her B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2014 and M.S. in Civil Engineering in 2015. She serves on the Board of the WTS Greater Kansas City Chapter as the Secretary. In addition to her WTS-KC involvement, Allison is also the Recognitions Chair of the KSPE Eastern Chapter, and the Communications Chair of the KC Metro APWA Chapter, and serves on the University of Kansas School of Engineering Diversity and Women’s Programs Advisory Board. Allison was named the KSPE Young Engineer of the Year for 2020 at the state level and received the Young Leader of the Year award for the APWA KC Metro Chapter in 2021.
