Retired Chairman, President and CEO of National-Standard Co.
Gerald H. Frieling Jr. was honored for his development of materials and technical leadership in the metals industry. He was chairman of the board, president and CEO of National-Standard Co., a manufacturer of specialty wire, metal products and machinery. He was the author of three patents and invented the two-valve water faucet. He was a consultant to the secretary of the U.S. Army and president of the Kutztown College Board.
