Joseph W. Davison

Retired Senior Vice President of Phillips Petroleum Co.

Davison was honored for developing innovative uses of petroleum resources and establishing methods and facilities for future research at Phillips Petroleum Co. He was author of 26 U.S. patents and numerous technical articles. He was president of the board of the Coordinating Research Council, vice chairman of the U.S. National Committee of the World Petroleum Congress and winner of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers Fellow and Founders Award.
