What is the focus of your research as part of the Undergraduate Research Fellows Program?

I will be using COMSOL or, computational fluid dynamics to run studies on the concentration gradient of a fabricated microfluidics chip and working with my mentor to optimize this chip for maximum throughput.

What do you enjoy most about conducting undergraduate research?

I really enjoy exploring and learning about the different sides of research. I mainly work in biomaterials; however, I really enjoy shadowing and participating in cell studies work.

What are your future academic and professional plans?

I would like to obtain my PhD in biomedical engineering and enter industry working in research and design focusing on cancer drugs.
