Kevin L. Cunningham

Kevin L. Cunningham is a lead Mission Systems engineer with Bell, one of the county’s leading aerospace manufacturers.  With over 35 years in the aerospace industry, Kevin has helped design, lab test, ground test, and flight test many of our armed services’ advanced aircraft. With Lockheed Martin, he was the Communications, Navigation, Identification Technical Lead on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, responsible for everything the pilot needed to “squawk, talk, and navigate.”  He completed a very successful flight test program for Bell’s prototype V-280 where he was the lead Avionics engineer.  Currently he is a Mission Systems lead engineer for Bell’s entry into the U.S. Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft program.  “I never served in the military, but I take great pride in helping to develop the aircraft that protect the lives of our service men and women.”  Kevin received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1983 from the University of Kansas.
