Biography

I am involved in:

Greek life, SELF, KU student ambassador, Concrete Canoe team, and Natural Ties

I have studied abroad in Slovenia and Venice!

I have interned with JE Dunn Construction where I worked in the Federal Group on a hospital expansion on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.

Ask me about...

Greek life! I serve as the president of Kappa Alpha Theta as well as previously in many other leadership positions. I am also a KU student ambassador and love talking about the university. I am also involved in Natural Ties and work with the Center for Community Outreach to volunteer in different realms in the community and have loved being able to have this opportunity. I am also a SELF fellow and have worked in different capacities through leadership and management there.

What do you love most about being an engineering student at KU?

I love the family that KU engineering has provided me and a home away from home on campus. Engineering has brought me my best friends, best experiences, and best memories of my college career, not to mention the amazing education and stellar staff I have had the opportunity to work with!

Why did you choose KU?

I chose KU because of the tradition. As a third generation Jayhawk I knew that KU had my heart the minute I stepped on campus as my brother's little sister coming to visit. Engineering soon locked me in and being awarded the SELF scholarship simply sealed the deal. I think choosing a place to spend 4 years is all about how you feel and if you can picture yourself as a student, and KU gave me all the great feels!
