Biography —
Research Engineer at Black & Veatch
Paul Haney was honored for his devotion to improvement, wise use and preservation of water resources. He was an associate professor at KU before joining Black & Veatch, where he researched methods to purify water and developed water treatment systems designs. He was president of the Water Pollution Control Federation and chaired the sanitary engineering division of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He also was a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
