William J. Hall

Professor and Chair of Civil Engineering, University of Illinois

Hall was honored for his devotion to research and education. He conducted research in structural engineering, structural dynamics and earthquake engineering. He won a Walter L. Huber American Society of Civil Engineers Research Award and was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. He also achieved Fellow status in ASCE.
