Justyna Hayslett

Justyna Hayslett is a junior on the Pre-Med track, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering concentration. She previously assisted with drug delivery research under Dr. Bertuccio and is currently gaining experience in Dr. Gerhke's hydrogel research lab. Justyna holds positions in many clubs and organizations around campus, including Co-President of KU Blood Drives, Outreach Director of KU Solar for All, and Recruitment Chair of KU Medlife - a group she traveled abroad with to Cusco, Peru. This study abroad is what sparked Justyna to add the Pre-Med track to her degree path! Additionally, she is not only a member of the KU Honors Program - she is an Ambassador for them as well.
