Leroy is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and currently resides in McKinney, TX with his wife, Genena. They are a blended family with three (3) children. Leroy is Lead Servant for Proclaiming the Word Ministries. Proclaiming the Word Ministries (PtWM) offers Walk Thru the Bible Live Event Seminars to churches, schools, and ministries. PtWM equips proclaimers of God’s Word through conferences/seminars & coaching consultations. PtWM also sponsors an annual Israel in HD: Holy Land Pilgrimage.

Jannette Berkley-Patton, Ph.D., is a professor in the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine Biomedical and Health Informatics Department, the director of the UMKC Community Health Research Group, and the director of the UMKC Health Equity Institute.

Luke Bobo serves as director of strategic partnerships for Made to Flourish and brings a rich blend of experience, having worked for 15 years in the marketplace as an electrical engineer before pursuing an M.Div. (Covenant Theological Seminary) and Ph.D. (University of Missouri-St. Louis), and eventually serving as the executive director of the Francis Schaeffer Institute at Covenant Seminary. Luke also holds a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri-Columbia, respectively.

Ozzy Bravo is a Principal at Terracon Consultants with 13 years of experience in civil engineering and serves in developing and executing the national business strategy for the transportation & infrastructure market sector. Mr. Bravo previously served as an Engineering Task Manager and provided engineering design and project management on transportation design-build projects nationally.

As a Transportation Engineer with TREKK Design Group, Allison designs interstate highway, roadway and pedestrian improvement projects across Missouri and Kansas. She also recently served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Kansas’ School of Engineering, teaching a graduate-level Highway Safety course.

Kevin L. Cunningham is a lead Mission Systems engineer with Bell, one of the county’s leading aerospace manufacturers.  With over 35 years in the aerospace industry, Kevin has helped design, lab test, ground test, and flight test many of our armed services’ advanced aircraft.

DeWayne Hickman, transitioned to eternal life with God on Monday, March 2, 2020, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was 54 years old. DeWayne was born in Kansas City, KS on April 9, 1965, to parents Urceil and Geraldine Irving Hickman. He was the youngest of two children. His oldest sister Tereada survives to mourn his death.

Denise is a Senior Manager Application Engineering for Charles Schwab where she is responsible for the availability of key equity compensation platforms and services.  Prior to Schwab,  Denise held several leadership positions within Information Technology organizations for Sprint and Experian,  leading teams in the UK,  Malaysia, Brazil, and India.

Antoine Lawrence hails from East Saint Louis, IL and was a guitarist in the famed International Lincoln High School Jazz Band. As a Minority Engineering Program Scholar, he participated in the SCoRMEBE Early Entry Program in the Summer of 1983 at the University of Kansas School of Engineering. Through perseverance, his Christian faith and the help of his fellow minority engineering students, Antoine graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1988 and later a M.S. in 1998.

Renee is a Senior Project Engineering in the Project Delivery Group at Missouri American Water. She joined the company in August 2017. Prior to returning to her hometown in St. Louis County she served at DC Water as the first woman Manager of Maintenance Operations responsible for a team of Electricians, Mechanics, and Instrumentation Technicians responsible for maintaining the water, sewer, combined sewer and stormwater pump stations, structures, odor control and water storage facilities located throughout the DC area.

Matthew McFarlane currently works for Henderson Engineers in Kansas City as an Energy Analyst. He is originally from Seattle Washington and Graduated from KU with a Bachelors and Masters in Architectural Engineering. While at KU Matthew was involved with the Engineering diversity programs since entering as a Freshman. Holding multiple positions within NSBE, including President, he tried to give to the program as much the program has given to him.

Since 2008, Karen L. McMurray has served as the President/CEO of Visiting Angels in St. Louis, Missouri. Her extensive business consulting expertise, supply chain management experience, and synergistic managerial approach enable her to match the needs of families with her talented and caring staff of caregivers. Her company’s goal is to provide supportive services that allow seniors and older adults to age-in-place in their homes.

David Menager is a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas. His research uses computational models of event memory as a core technology for answering research questions about artificial intelligence. His current interest is to understand the role of event memory in goal and intention recognition. He received the Self Graduate Fellowship, the GEM Fellowship and the Self Engineering Leadership Fellowship. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.

Richelle graduated from University of Kansas with a BS in Electrical Engineering and further pursued her Master of Business of Administration at Webster University in 1993. Richelle is a Senior Program Manager at Amazon working in the Alexa Security Artificial Intelligence Foundation Division. She recently retired from Nokia after twenty-three years as the Lead Senior Program Manager for one of Nokia’s largest accounts.

Dr. Moore is a bariatric surgeon and a laparoscopic and robotic specialist in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation, Florida and previously served as Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1997 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering degree from the KU School of Engineering in 1989. He is married to Rhonda Moore, KU B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1987, and the father of Ronald Moore III, KU M.S.

Kelly is Senior Director Process Improvement of Operations at Target, leading process improvement solutions across the enterprise. Previously, she was Sr Director Engineering of Store Design at Target where she lead a team of engineers that provided industry leading design, installation, operation support, and service for all of Target properties.

Prior to her time at Target, Kelly served as an Associate Vice President at Henderson Engineers in Lenexa, KS. Where she lead a team that was responsible for providing services to several of the nation’s largest retailers.

Strauder Patton IV, based in Dallas, Texas, USA, serves as Vice President of Global Project Delivery in the People and Places Solutions Line of Business for Jacobs, a global Consulting, Engineering & Solutions company composed of over 55,000 employees and revenues over $15 Billion. Strauder oversees Jacobs’ strategy in the Project Delivery areas impacting over 15,000 projects and over 6,000 Project Managers across the business.

Alicia Phillips is an award winning, motivated, innovative, compassionate, hardworking, experienced lighting engineer who loves to smile, enjoys eating great food and keeps a supermom cape in her backpack. A 1995 KU BS Architectural Engineering graduate she takes pride in developing solutions, being a good listener that's easy to work with, valuing feedback and being an insightful leader. In her 25 year career of varied experiences Alicia has worn many hats involved with the process of building design and construction.

Mr. Phillips joined Inspire as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary in January 2021. Prior to joining Inspire, he served as Chief Legal Officer at Cerevel Therapeutics Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded clinical‐stage biopharmaceutical company that researches and develops therapies intended to treat central nervous system disorders.

Gerardo Prado is Vice President and National Sports Practice Leader at HNTB Corporation, a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm with 4,900 employees across 70 offices.

Gerardo joined HNTB’s Kansas City office in 1996, upon his graduation from the University of Kansas, and leads a group of architecture professionals passionate about sports facility design.

Katie Schultz is the Director of Engineering Services for the Data Center business at Black & Veatch, where she has worked for most of her career after graduating from the University of Kansas in 2003 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Katie leads a diverse team of engineers from across the globe designing data centers for a variety of clients. Prior to Data Centers, Katie was a Director in Corporate HR where she developed several talent initiatives including a digital platform to enable internal “gig” opportunities for professionals.

Andrew B. Williams, Ph.D., M.B.A., was an Associate Dean for the University of Kansas (KU) School of Engineering and the Charles E. and Mary Jane Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In his role, he led the strategic planning and implementation efforts to catapult the KU IHAWKe (Indigenous, Hispanic, African American, Women, KU Engineering) Diversity & Women’s Programs to receive the highest inaugural Diversity Recognition Program Award given by the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) in 2019.
